us for taking part in the BIG tidy up .In October

up the areas around the school. We are 1 of
the 9,000 groups that have taken part in the

| Green
Tree Award Scheme
We have achieved the bronze standard award in
this scheme which is run by the Woodland Trust.
To earn this we have completed different activities
such as tree and hedge planting at school, taking
part in the Yellow Woods Challenge, reducing C02
emissions at school by fitting low energy light
bulbs and turning monitors off .We have also registered
with Nature Detectives which is a fantastic website,
including a children’s wild life club, where
you can find all sorts of fun and interesting
activities. Why not log in at www.naturedetectives.org.uk |

Please
save your Yellow Pages
Every year our school takes part in the Yellow Woods
challenge by collecting as many yellow pages as
possible and making them into sculptures as well
as recycling them .So this year we are planning
to take part again so please bring your old Yellow
Pages into school. |
